Aldo performed in important theaters and concert hall in Europe such as the Sala Koncertowa in Katowice (Poland), the Theater ‘San Carlos’ in Lisboa, the Solitar of the Salzburg’s Mozarteum, the Chopin’s hall in Seville (Spain), the Teatro Marcello and Villa Torlonia in Rome, Festival ‘Letnie Koncerty’ in Warsaw, Museo Orsanmichele in Firenze (Italy), Teatro De Gil Vicente in Coimbra (Portugal) and many others. As a soloist he played the with the Orchestra ‘Alfredo Catalani’ conducted by M. Fabbri, with the Giovane Orchestra d’Abruzzo conducted by P. Veleno, with the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina conducted by F. Bossone and J.F. Lobo. As a piano accompanist he played the Petite Messe Solennelle by Gioacchino Rossini with the soprano Katia Ricciarelli, the Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, the Mozart’s concert aria ‘Ch’io mi scordi di te’ with the soprano Michelle Buscemi and the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina.

Aldo Dotto was born in Pisa in 1988. He completed his musical studies, under the guidance of M° Giorgio Fazzi at the ‘L. Boccherini’ Conservatory in Lucca, where he got both the bachelor and master degree in piano and the fourth year diplom in composition. Subsequently he studied with M° Aquiles Delle Vigne at the International Piano Academy in Coimbra and with the pianist Anna Gòrecka at the ‘Szymanowski’ Music Academy in Katowice (Poland), where he obtained his second master degree in piano performance. Very important for his musical developement were also the masterclasses with reknown professors such as M° Andrzej Jasinski, Jozef Stompel.

He made researches and wrote a book about the polish composer Karol Szymanowski, published by Ets Edition (Pisa, 2014). Afterwards this publication he was invited to give lectures and concerts by the Conservatories in Lucca, Pisa, La Spezia Siena, by the Italian Institute of Culture in Warsaw and the polish Institute of Culture in Roma.
