Juli Zhu - Founder & CEO of IMIG
 
Juli is a graduate of East Normal University of China. In 1988 she came to Abu Dhabi as a specialist Piano and Music Theory teacher and has since taught thousands of young and old students. Following on from her early student examination successes she soon became the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Abu Dhabi Representative, and in the same year (1994) IMIG was established as the International Music Institute, where students continue to be taught to this day.
Since arriving in the UAE and following on from the establishment of IMIG, Juli has seen the UAE and Abu Dhabi develop, not only in size and architecture, but also in its cultural vision. It goes without saying that Juli has had a massive impact on the lives of many musicians in Abu Dhabi, not only in those she has taught but also with her impact on the lives of professionals. Juli is proud to note that many of her students and teachers have gone on to have hugely successful careers in the UAE and internationally.
Her philosophy is that a successful teacher is able to not only teach a student but also nurture a students love for music and help them to carry this love and enjoyment for a life time.
